Leona graduated from University College Dublin. She spent a couple of years working in mixed practice near her home town of Cork, Ireland before moving to New Zealand.

She enjoys working with owners to achieve the best outcome for them and their pet, and has a particular interest in soft tissue surgery and ultrasonography.

Outside of work Leona enjoys exploring New Zealand, hiking and learning to surf.
