Because of the high level of competence possessed by our veterinarians and the presence of a fully prepared operation theatre at our clinic with orthopaedic equipment, we are able to undertake some orthopaedic surgical operations on your pet, should that become necessary. This includes but is not limited to cruciate ligament repair, Tibial Tuberosity Advancement, Femoral Head Ostectomy and other joint procedures.
Orthopaedic problems that are more complicated will have to be transferred to a specialist orthopaedic surgeon at Massey University who specializes in complex cases. Our doctors will examine each patient as an individual and offer guidance that is tailored to both you and your pet’s needs.
